The Ruthie Foster episode was shot at the Canmore Folk Festival in Canmore, Alberta.

I first heard Ruthie Foster on an Eric Bibb CD called "Friends". The moment I heard her sing, I wanted to know more about her. I listened to that song over and over a few times and was immediately drawn to her. My friend, Eric Thom, gave me one of her CDs and I was hooked - but not as hooked as when I met her in person - and certainly not as hooked as when I saw her perform on stage for the first time. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to see her perform live several times and she knocks me out, every single time. She is truly "phenomenal" like her album title suggests...
