Episode Thirty-Eight "Tribute"

Episode 38 begins with a segment on another amazing young blues musician named Nick Moss. Nick is based out of Chicago and he is determine to play his blues to pay respect to all the great blues men and women who have come before him. In this segment, Nick talks about the love he has for the music that he plays and the role that his family played in him becoming a blues musician.

The second segment is an excerpt from a Mel Brown DVD entitled, "Blues...A beautiful thing." In this segment, Mel talks about his health. The music featured in the background is a stunning tune entitled "Love, Lost and Found" which will be on Mel's next CD.

A music video of "Waffle House Blues" by Morgan Davis is featured next. This video was shot at Liquid Studios in Toronto.

The show closes off with a short tribute to Domenic Troiano who passed away in the spring of 2005. Although, Domenic was not considered to be a blues guitarist, he was definitely influenced by the blues. I didn't know Domenic very well but he was one of the kindest man I have ever met. In more than one occasion, he went out of his way to help me out and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know such a great talent and more importantly, such a great human being. He is truly missed. In this segment, Domenic talks about his love of the blues.
