Episode Sixteen - "Harvest Blues"

Episode 16 begins with a piece on Mighty Sam McClain. He may not consider himself to be a blues artist but Mighty Sam can sing the blues with the best of them. Mighty Sam left home young when his father abused him and through his life, has lived on the streets more than once. But he is a man who is full of joy, laughter and most of all, music.

The next segment features a profile of the Harvest Blues and Jazz Festival which takes place in Fredericton, New Brunswick every September. Festival organizer, Brent Staeben talks about the genesis and the philosophy behind this very special festival.

This show concludes with Bobby Blue Bland sharing his thoughts on how he began singing in his youth.
