Episode Nine- "Like a Bullet"

Episode 9, entitled "Like a Bullet" begins with a segment on Australian blues guitarist, Sweet Baby James Meston. He is another example of how the blues exists all over the world and how it doesn't matter where you live, you can be very passionate about this genre of music. This segment features a performance of his song, "Bullet through my Heart".

The next segment features the music of Beki Brindle and the work of director Suzie Kidnap. Beki's song "Young Women's Blues" is featured in this piece on "Forced Adoption". This segment is a little departure from the rest of the series but I am pleased to have Beki and Suzie's work included on Talkin' Blues.

The final segment of this show features the great Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown talking about the blues...and a few other things. The chance to meet and spend some time with Gatemouth Brown has been one of the many highlights of mine throughout this project - and this little segment is without a doubt one of my favourite moments of all the interviews that I have conducted.
